MD&A INC. operating as "Make More Creative" ("we," "us," or "our") operates DuckSmith^™ (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely via hashing). We do not collect your real name, phone number, or physical address unless you provide it voluntarily.

Game Data: We store your game save data on our servers, including your farm state, duck names, game progress, and preferences. This data is associated with your account and used solely to provide the game experience.

Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details on our servers.

Usage Data: We may collect basic usage information such as login timestamps, session duration, and browser type for service improvement and troubleshooting purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• To save and restore your game progress across devices
• To process subscription payments
• To send essential service communications (e.g., password resets)
• To generate AI-powered duck personality responses using third-party AI services

3. Third-Party Services

Supabase: We use Supabase for authentication and database storage. Your account and game data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

Anthropic: We use Anthropic's Claude AI to generate duck personality responses. When you interact with a duck (e.g., petting), limited game context (duck name, personality traits, mood, recent memories) is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.

Netlify: The Service is hosted on Netlify. Netlify may collect standard server logs including IP addresses.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the third-party service providers listed above, solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days to allow for reactivation. After that period, your data may be permanently deleted. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for data processing (which may result in inability to use the Service)

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
